The painter Klaus Hollauf was born in Wolfsberg / Carinthia in 1957. He  studied from 1977 to 1984 at the Mozarteum University, painting class with Prof. Peter Prandstetter, and received the 1984 state government sponsorship award.

Continuous exhibition activity since 1980, especially in Vienna, Künstlerhaus Klagenfurt and Salzburg, Graz and Kunstverein Baden. He is a member of the Carinthian and Baden Art Association and lives and works in Vienna.
